Though this plaster monolith of backwoods Appalachian culture has seen better days, the community rallies behind its existence and welcomes you to the chance to visit and pay your respects!

Hemlock Bazaar

Located in the heart of beautiful downtown Ellijay, Georgia, just a few miles from Blue Ridge, near the start of the Appalachian trail, and in the heart of Apple Country, Hemlock Bazaar is a coffee shop, a book store, a record store, and new kind of Appalachian Marketplace, with a wide variety of Books, Records, Movies, Coffee, Tea, Art, Decor, Oddities, Hand-Made goods, and More.

Mountain Town Coffee

Mountain Town Coffee is a local roasterie in Ellijay, Georgia, offering delicious coffee themed around your favorite cryptids like Bigfoot, the Jackalope, and the Chupacabra. You can find their coffee served fresh at Hemlock Bazaar, or you can buy their bags of fresh roasted whole bean coffee.
Science offers no proof about whether the Jackalope or the Jersey Devil may actually exist, but our whole-bean coffee sure does—and it’s full of flavor. Try a bag. You won’t forget it.
Their menu includes espresso based drinks like the Honey Bear and Big Foot lattes, fresh pastries from Arelowes Bakerhouse, and bagels from Nagles Bagels.
