There is great news for silent film fans and adventure lovers. We are thrilled to present our brand new restoration of Filibus: The Mysterious Air Pirate from 1915.

This landmark Italian silent film tells the story of Filibus, a gender fluid master of disguise and a sky bound thief. Filibus sets their sights on outsmarting the very detective sworn to catch them.

This release is a labor of love from New Ellijay Television. We have partnered with rock band Doctor Deathray to create an all new, modernized score that bridges the silent era and today. We have also carefully translated, reinterpreted, and slightly modernized the original intertitles. @communitybroadcasting.network I just watched S1E05, but didn't get any sound when watching https://vod.newellijay.tv/w/q8gUQDq3csiEqgAyE2DQdP or downloading and playing on VLC. Previous episodes work fine. There was some clips of title cards with green words immediately switching to cards with red words – maybe an early edit was posted to this site?

The printed zine was cool, too. I like that you are expanding on the story and creating toys to go along with it!
